Default Front Drive O-ring part # on 1/6th for those interested.

Part # 8d35817926- this is a 1- 13/16 O-ring purchased from Advanced Auto Parts. They are plentiful in most communities. Its a tad smaller than stock belt, but not so much so to overwelm electronics. grips good. This is for the front.

67 Cents, Tax Included. I hope I gave the correct Part Number, its the number listed by the bar code on the bottom of the package, None the less you should be able to locate it with that number.

I jut picked up mine today and the # you have listed is not only NOT the part #, but it's also different than what's on my back.

The # you listed is the skew #, and mine reads 8035817924

At least, that's what the guy at Advanced told me. Just thought I'd post a heads up...

beeeeeeeeee careful. I tried one awhile back and it put so much stress on the axle i broke it on both sides. I'll take pics of it if you dont believe me lol. Thay work well until that happens though. They also have a size for the back too. Same thing happened back there though.

In the first post, I stated it was for the front only, In my next post I stated I was unsure if that was a part number, so a skew number could be correct.

i have had better luck with a o-ring in the front and front belt in the rear. I put a o-ring in the rear and 30 minutes later i busted it. The rear grips really well and can get axle wrap. I think cause of weight dist. that an oring in the rear is to much stress with no play.

I just made a post on this but there is no need to purchase an O-ring for the rear or to get a slightly smaller belt.

All you need is a hobby knife and some CA.

The belts are made of Buta-N (nitrile) if you cut approx 9.6mm off the rear belt and use a small drop of CA to reglue it, you will have a slighlty smaller belt and it will stop the rear slippage.

Default rear drive belt...

hello, i am VRY new here and to rc's.....there was mention of a o-ring being try'd, well my rearend was slipp'n the belt, so i went to my local t.v./vcr repair shop. (been there b4 for vcr belts) and remember the kazillian differant sizes he had on the wall-HMMMMMMMMMMMM... he hook me up w/ a belt that fits awesum... it is (SBL) square belt lenght 6.7, alittle pricey for what it is,($6.50), but if'n it keeps sumthing else from break'n its wurth it in my eye ...
