Wheel hope is not just caused by tires Suspension setup plays a big part in reducing wheel hop.

that means nothing. If you are hopping, too much antisquat.

Still not enough info.
A pic would work better.Shock Angle,Spring Rate, and link Placement all play a part.
Oh yeah why so heavy?

Is this the truck? If so way to much Anti squat.
What is the weight of your wheels front and rear?I am not asking this to evaluate the wheel hope but something else is rolling around in my head.

Ok here is my take on this Someone may beg to differ but I am pretty sure on what I am about to say.

You need to raise the upper link at the Chassis in the rear. That will cause the suspension not to hit the tires so hard that it causes axle hop. What you are doing is hitting the tires harder than what they can handle.
Also your shock oil may be a little stiff causing the shocks to react to slow to be able to dampen some of the bounce that the tires have.
Next thing if you can kill some Anti Squat in the rear you may be able to lighten the truck up some. The reason being is with a ton of AS. it causes the truck to act more rigid and you have to add more weight to the tires to make up for the suspension fighting its self. Another thing to think of when setting up a truck is to try to have some droop in the shocks.

Raise your rear upper link at the frame, or lower it at the axle tube.

Your shocks are too steep of an angle to be effective. I wouldn't mess with the shock oil. Any change will be irrelevant unless you change the wt by the 100s. Up or down 10-30wt isn't going to help.

Default Wheel Hop

Have you drilled a airhole in your wheels. If not thats the main reason for Wheel Hoping, because of the trapped air in the tires. The airhole will make a huge difference with that problem.

I didn't know you chould cut a hole into a wheel.:? I drill a circle hole into my wheels, and they work perfect. You could also use a reamer for a perfect circle to vent your wheels. Have fun cutting holes into your rims.:?

Cut a hole into your tire, or "Leather punch"

Ok .. First off..
THIS IS NOT A DOWNTOWN HERO CHASSIS!
This is a chassis that BMS wanted ..
We've helped him set it up, only to have him REset it up.
The truck works.. He is just a 21 year old know it all that likes to argue about everything.
He would debate with you if you told him the sky was blue.

So people there isn't a big need to waste your breath and or post count on this guy..
He won't listen anyway ..

We have 6-8 Heros in the stable with no issues..
They can be set up correctly.. And work very well using similar geometry ..

haha!! when I read the first post i was thinking,
"I wonder if this guy knows what wheelhop actually is?"
I don't think an 8 lb rig on rovers with PL 2 stage foams is going to be "hopping" anything

Good to hear its workin better.
Sorry for throwin you under so bad Brian...
But I don't want people thinking that the chassis is the whole issue.

We will continue to help you out.. Just be a little more open to setup help from us.
I think the older you get.. The more you realize that other people are smart too.
Don't worry.. I was 21 once.. And trust me... I knew EVERYthing ..
As I got along in the years I realized I was a moron like everyone else.
