| Crawlers in Aus
hey guys, im new to this forum and Crawling. but far from a noob in terms of RC. Just looking to see where most of the Aus crawlers gather to show off their skills and rigs. Im in Melb and there is a vast range of spots to crawl at, and i know of 2 man made spots with gates marked out. My rig is in the post and should be here in a day or 2, (Venom creeper) will not see life as a stock rig, (i find it hard to leave stuff stock) Will custom cut some 2mm carbon plate to make new chassis sides and eliminate the battery tray, new servo holder to accommodate servo and lipo on front axle. novak 55t brushed and using a spare Traxxas waterproof ESC that was stripped from my Slash. any guys have any sugestions on other mods?? (useful mods) |

CKRC, cheap no service really, TCS more expensive has service. Both ship to Australia. I think RPP does for a fee. Tower ships internationally. Check the Venom forums you'll find plenty of mods Kieren |

Don't bother with go hard hobbies on ebay unless you have to. They simply resell CKRC products at ridiculous prices. Some of their stuff is good price wise, but most is overpriced. If you want their products most likely CKRC or TCS will have it cheaper. Kieren |

I've never had a problem with CKRC always spot on.I'm not to sure about what sort of "service" you guys are after anyways. As for the venom Creepy, that is what you get from a brand that is not that well known (NO PARTS). Why didn't you get a Axial, losi, even a kyosho!!!

I agree CKRC has fast shipping, and stuff. But 3 out of 4 orders I have had with them have been "stuffed up". Most of the time it was small things and they shipped the missing part soon after. But one time they sent me the wrong lipo battery and then wanted me to ship it back to them at my own cost, before they would send the correct one.:? I will also add to your list Axial, losi, if it was the only rockcrawler in the world kyosho, Enroute, tamiya (it makes a nice scaler with a bit of work) Kieren |
