Default ---->> Anyone running G-Made Rod Ends?

I was just checking these out and I think they look Sweet and pretty reasonably priced at $30 for 20(the Traxxas ends shown are $7 for 20). Wondering if anyone has some first hand experience with these Rod Ends?

Just look at 'em!

I bought a set directly from G-Made. The shipping was a litle high ($14) but I justified it by buying the axle brace kit with the rod ends. Everything is beautifully made and fits great. The balls are a little stiff in the rod ends but a drop of Trinity Royal oil took care of that. I mated them with 3/8" aluminum for my steering rods and 7/16" for my lower links. I'm building a Stick knock off with 3/4" hex aluminum bar for a backbone. I'm waiting on an order of Techno-Weld to finish the chassis. But I won't hi-jack your thread..... I don't see any way I could break these rod ends, and I plan on beating this crawler. I'll give an update after everything is done and I get some time on the rocks with them.

those g-made 10mil rod ends are HUGE! i got some for a rig but they were too big so i got some of the 6.8mil. the 10mil i'll use for a 6th scale rig. the 6.8's i have on my junfac tracer and are decent rod ends, good range of movement, especially with a conical washer behind it.

I've got them on my clod. I used 10-24 hardware to attach them to the 3/8" delrin links I have. These ends fit 3/8" link material perfect as far as size goes. Bought mine from http://www.thecrawlerstore.com/ though...support the forum sponsors.

Here's the only pic I really have so far with the new rod ends in it:

Here's a wide side shot:

The thing I really like about them is that you don't need seperate conical washers and stuff to install them...and that the head of the cap screw is recessed inside the ball making for more misalignment.

I'm glad i foudn this thread. Just what i was looking for.

I just upgraded my links to 3/8 for my 1:6 Rubiclod. These would make it look much more realistic.

As you can see, i need the rod ends. (pulls out wallet)
