Default To those who mount batteries on a tvp chassis......

How do you keep the batteries secure? zipties? Running a CPE Evo. I use the zipties but it still seems a little loose. Theres nowhere to velcro it unless I fab something up

Velcro on top of the skid.

I run mine under the upper links on a tvp. Plate zip tied to the upper links with velcro on it and two slots for a velcro wrap.

I fab'd a battery plate for the rear axle out of 1/8" Delrin. Then a pair of velcro straps hold it TIGHT to that plate. (Straps from the Axial Kit work GREAT!!) I do run a tiny pack, and have no clearance issues. (Zippy Rhino 1050mah 40C - 50C 3 Cell.)

yup clod so there is no skid. there are battery cutouts but I need to stop them from sliding out of the plates. (Its is a CPE Evo) and its a 7cell stick pack. (going to run 2 as there are cutouts for it.)
