Default Proline tuber battery placement

Just got a proline tuber for my ax-10 scorpion, thought my battery pack ( standard 6-cell stick, venom 4200) was supposed to fit under the battery cover but can't seem to get it too. Am I doing something wrong or will stick packs not fit under the cover? Not really wanting to have to get new/different battery packs already, any other suggestions?

i had to play with the wire placement to get my 6 cell pack to fit. it was a very tight fit but is can be done.

I used two small sticks that are made for the traxxas 1/16 trucks. Put one in each of the side compartments and use a parallel adapter. With a Tekin FXR ESC you can get several hours of run time.

This is the only good pick i have of mine, the reciever is located in the front recess, so sits under the battery, and i used the spare servo mont and put the ESC on the rear axle.
