Default Lockable Diffs

I could be wrong, but it seems like lockable diffs are just a gadget used to sell the truck that has it and not very practical.

Opinions?

Agree. I would love to have Tx activated locking diffs that work always, at least for the front axle. Though it seems the lockable diffs do not hold up to well, have a unconsistant shifting mechanism (cables are not consistant) or you have to mount a servo on the axle. My opinion is to sacrifice a little turning radius to keep a clean, functioning axle.
