THATS TO MANY VOLTS FOR STOCK SYSTEM... 8.4V MIGHT WORK BUT NOT 9.6

thats why in the book that the 1/18th nylint comes with says " you can use up to 9.6v" !!!!!!!!

that means you can use "up to" a 9.6v and if it frys the board call them up and they will send you a new truck!!!!

cool thanks for clearing the fog, and good point, lol my truck are on there way in the mail should be here at the end of the week, just finding out info befor so i can get at her when they arrive lol

i will still be the first one to put in new motors,,,or a brushless

the book says: on the last page(page 12):

1. Technical Specifications
Normal Operation Condition 0-35*C

Default 9.6 battery

I have ran 9.6v batteries in mine a lot. It didn't screw any of the electrical stuff up, but it did make it hader to control on the rocks. It gave it more power and it would spin the tires to easy. In high gear it was great it would smoke my brothers nylint on the street. If you want more power than use the 9.6 but I don't use mine anymore unless my 7.2 bateries are still charging. I hope this helps.

no i didnt even look at it...if the stock speedo will handle it then cool...


if u get a good radio and servo and esc and all then the 9.6 will come in handy. cause u can put it on slow
