Default Red Scorpion MK1

I got a Red Limited Edition Scorpion MK1 today. VERY awsome looking! I took it out of the box and put the battery on the charger.

Noticed the chassis was an old one not the new and improved chassis' so I know when people start buying these and if theirs also comes with a old chassis we are going to here a lot of *****ing. I could care less which chassis I get they both work fine for me.

I took the body apart and I was going to paint the roll cage but decided to put it back together and drive it like it is for a while to see if I really want to modify the Limited edition Sorpion body.

I am going to do the same shock relocation mods like I did on my Jeep to get more articulation, not sure if I am going to do any more mods.

It fell out of the sky and nearly killed me when it landed.

Where do you think I got it?

Nice!
I figured I'd finally register and post up since I've been lurking in here for a couple weeks now.
I got my red one last week. It was the only one on the shelf and it was red!.BTW, where did you find the cert of authenticity? I was so excited to play with it I really haven't gone thru the box yet since I'm hiding it from the kids because it's my present from santa Mine also has the old chassis on it, but is working ok except fot the steering and 2 cracked beadlocks.

And to think I was going to paint this one camo good thing I found this BB before I started painting. I'll be keeping it red now

Well I am sick right now so I am doing everything in slow motion. I would have normally ripped the box apart to get the rig out but I opened it nicely using a knife (less effort) and found the cert in a protective bag taped to the styrofoam.

Good thing you didn't paint it! I am not sure if it's going to be worth anything down the road but it is cool to be pimping a limited edition one.

Welcome to the site.

Very cool! I like the red body more than the yellow.

I am hoping it will be worth more with scratches and dings in it, cause I going to beat the piss out of it on the rocks.

I agree with Badger . . . . and I'd be Lyin' if I said . . . "Oh, you'll be able to retire from your investment in the Limited Edition Scorpion" . . . . IMHO, they ain't ever gonna be worth any more than you paid for it . . . brand new, still in the box . . . or "beat to piss on the rocks" . . . so enjoy it now and "drive it like you stole it"!
