Default Comp nylint




here's my jeep set up for comp. more pics http://www.texasoffroad.net/galleries/members/album181

some specs: most of the usual stuff. front is stretched 1/2 rear is 3/4, cut and grooved tires, flipped arms, cut springs, weighted front, tummy tuck, dual black planetarys, and a 6 cell stick battery.

Ooh!

I'm diggin' the bobbed sides. Must do that to mine now!

I'm still not sure I want to dovetail the rear, but the bobbed sides look real nice. Good work!

I didn't bob my front fenders, but I did make'm into flatties.

Maybe one day I'll braze up a proper cage for this lil' guy...

Hey Bowtie, I was checking out your rig again and I saw your K5 Blazer. That thing is ****in awesome! Nice tube work, I would kill for that K5. You got crazy sawzall skills and really good taste! Anyway, can you post some body off shots of the 1:18?

body will be put on another crawler when i get one. the body became a bit too heavy with what i did with it.

Great idea for the battery pack location!

Is the COG affected at all with the battery up a little higher?

yeah, i would say with the battery in that location the COG is a little higher. i've added weight to the axles and wheels to help, seems to crawl and climb pretty good.
