Should I remove the hard plastic piece from inside the tire before adding BBs?

I didn't. I did spray a bunch of CRC lubricant so they do not rust and so they move smoothly. (WD-40 wll not last!)

After the Holidays, they do this. They have a BUNCH of stock in the warehouses, we would think, and they are trying to make their 2005 numbers look as good as possible. They often take popular goods and blow them out! What a DEAL? What are they going for at the different sizes - 1/18 & 1/6?

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. I was a little concerned that they may be doing a going out of the Nylint Crawler business sale. One guy posted that his Wally World was offing the 1:6th rigs for $119.95, I don't know about the 1:18.
