Default 3mm rod ends...

I searched and came up empty handed. So can I get some recommendations on good 3mm rod ends?

Need a high degree of misalignment.

I also need bent and straight ends.

I bought RC4wd's ends but they are super brittle and today on my first run with my new comp rig. I broke 4 rod ends. So I need something better...

Thanks.

Go with 8/32(4mm) Jato ends. You won't regret the size increase. Otherwise Axial has bent rod ends.

Jato are 3mm rod ends, Revo are 4mm (pn 5347). I have the Jato on my rig now and Ive never broke one yet.

These are Jato rod ends and they are 4mm-8/32

OK are you asking for thread 3mm or ball hole 3mm? Most ball ends are 3mm ball hole.

You can use the same links, just redrill and tap them.

Otherwise you are just going to have to go with standard E-max rod ends. They aren't going to have anymore misalignment than anything else though. As for bent ends, you will either have to use the Axial ends or Losi ends for the LCC.

I highly suggest ditching the 3mm.

These are 3mm/3mm. BUT If you can re-thread your delrin links to accept 4mm-8/32 or get 3/8 threaded rods and aluminum or stainless steel tube sleeves, Bart's suggestion is a stronger way to go.

how strong are the Losi bent links? i hate the Axial because they strip to easy. And I have run jato ends on my last rig and they dont have as much misalignment as Id like. Plus they arnt bent.

These are all I found. Stormer Hobbies(LOSA6011) has em 4-pak $6.95. 17deg offset

Any good hardware store would have a 4mm tap. I use 8/32 just cause, well it's America Delrin taps out like butter.

I have not used them, mainly the Jato's and Dubro's, but RC4WD has plastic and alum ones

Traxxas 5469's are the strongest 3mm end's I've found. I've never broke any. I broke several of the ones Siggy linked. The stock axial plastic ones are stronger than those.

Use the stock axial steel balls, they are stronger than the traxxas balls.

Not all stock Axial balls are steel, the ARTR (maybe others also) has plastic balls. I've never had an issue with traxxas balls and Axial ones cost to much if you have to buy them.

Your right, I keep forgetting 90% of axials are RTRs. The kits have the steel balls stock.

I agree that these are the strongest plastic rod ends you are going to find.

The link is to ball ends that fit the above rod ends that could give you the high misalignment you are looking for.

I use the Dubro 3mm links and have never had a failure. They are longer than most so you will have to adjust for that.
