Default Big Rigs!

Hi all,

new here, just getting seriously hooked on the whole Crawler-thing - it's all 4Wheeler-mags fault for running the Nylints in a little side report!!

Went searching and cruising through the threads, but couldn't find any answers:

Is there anyone building a Scale Big Rig?
Like a Paris-Dakar Rally Truck? or Support-Truck? Or something like the Euro-style Trial Trucks?
I am talking about models of Full-Size 40-ton, 20-ton, 10-ton trucks modified for Rally or Trial (European Talk for Top Truck Challenge like competitions - this is more like Crawling than Rally. Different classes - one of them biiiiig rigs...).
You find from 2-axle to 4-axle trucks, awesome looking!
If no one here is working on something like this, maybe you could give me a lead to where to find this kind of crawlers!

Thanks,

thjakits

badger,

low on greenbacks myself!

What scale is the Actros? Should be 1:15 if the below rant is right....

For your inspiration, check the site below (just found them! If you really need to know what the text says, use AltaVista-Babelfish translater. The site is in German!):
All presented models are scale 1:8 to 1:87 and are all RC!!

HOMEPAGE: http://www.rc-lkw.de/

some "werks":
Go to "Projekte" and just scroll through what comes up.
The 6 catagories under "Projekte" are from the top:

# Trucks - general
# Trial Trucks (must read, they are ALL great!)
# Construction Equipment
# Cranes
# Tractors (agricultural)
# Trailers

Click on any and it expands to the build-up story with lots of pics.
Click on any pic and it expands.
If there is more than 1 page in the story click on "Fortsetzung" to get to the next page....

After you are done with that go to "Reportagen" and click the 4th and 8th pics. They expand into a report about trial meetings (scale!!) - you will find some really good "Crawlers"!
Especially in the 8th, go all the way down and click "Bildergallerie" - there are 4 pages - you'll find a sweet Gama-goat!! amongst other beauties!

Enough for now!
If you get stuck with Babelfish, let me know and I translate essentials!

Out,

thjakits

PS: badger, here you got he daddy of your Actros:
