Default 1000$ budget. Can't decide!

I want a comp 2.2 crawler but I can't decide how to spend my 1,000$ budget! The only thing I have is a charger. I got out of RC but I am getting back in. . Anyone have any suggestions? I am seriously overwhelmed.

Could buy someones dial'd in Berg from the classifieds and have $$ left to get a nice radio and Lipo's.

Also take a look at the RC4WD ARTR and kits:

They have MOA and shafties.

I'm a shafty fan myself I just like the idea of drive shafts and the Losi 2.2 comp truck would be my choice. It's not only a great value but it's also probably the best designed crawler out of a box to date. There is also many drivers out there who are getting top results with them. I think your budget is generous enough and you will have a great rig no matter which direction you take. What your going to find out is that only threw hours behind the wheel and at the work bench learning the craft is going to be the biggest investment.

Have fun I wish I had a $1000 to spend.

Get some light weight Bully axles. Mamba or Holmes esc. atleast a cs170 servo. Punk dig. 3-4s lipo. HB or Panther tires of your choice. some nice narrow bead locks. Nova foams. EEM SNG chassis. EEM steering setup. Used dx3r radio. comp body. 2-45 or even 35t motors, Integy will be fine. And you will set.

Would be AWESOME to have $1k all at once to spend on a rig!

i picked up a Losi Comp Crawler Roller that was pretty much new. hardly any wear. I put in a novak Goat 3s 21.5t system, all the aluminum and Ti Losi upgrades to the axles and steering, a hitec 7950 steering servo, CC BEC,Vanquish DH pro comps front and rear, and a Dx3r all in 1 shot, and it was about a grand. the roller had Ti Lower links, HB rovers on it with nova foams, and also had the dig servo.

Damn it!! That's the EXACT rig and set up I'm running. I built mine over a few months so it didn't seem like I spent that much. Now I'm a bit bummed at all the cash I spent. Oh well, at least my wife doesn't lurk arround here.

Basically what I had was a pretty bad#as berg/rockshow all priced out coming in a little over $1000. Could be done for less with a little less bling.
