Exclamation Steering won't turn right anymore

after i painted my jeep i put it back together to play around with it. i started to notice after a couple of minutes that it would barely turn right going forward but it would go left all the way. in reverse it will turn both way lock to lock. anybody had this problem and what should i do?

thanks

I have this problem too. I think the motor is just being a p*ssy...I'd have to tear it apart and look while it is working. But my guess is that when you turn the wheel to the right is when the motor runs in reverse it doesn't have as much gusto, thats why you don't hear a belt squeal, not enough power to slip it.

Yes it even has this problem with a full charge.

I suggest you learn how to drive like you've got a 1:1 right with manual steering Just gonna have to slowly rock back and forth while you try to turn the wheel.

Look at the driver side steering knuckle tower. Its not that the motor is weak. Or atleast on mine the tower just bends and flexes as it pleases... I've tried contacting nylint as I have the old chassis and I don't know if this was fixed or beefed in the upgraded. I don't like it, when I'm crawling I can't really steer the way I want it to go.

I've got a reinforced tower, steel pitman arm, and steel tierod, the tower isn't flexing neither is anything else.

Then thats gotta be a wussy motor, mine does bend though...

Can you show me pics of your setup? Also how would disassemble that? I want to run a machine screw down through the tower so mine doesn't bend and eventually break.

Do those pins/rivets just pull out?

I know this seems like a really simple answer but is your trim centered? When mine is not set right it will turn much better one way then the other.
