| just finished my winch. here is a little video link to show it off. http://www.youtube.com/?v=to6gF_LHiDg http://www.youtube.com/?v=y8oJkFFLOiQ i found some old toyota rc at a thrift store and it had a winch. it took some time figuring out how to install it. dont ask me to explain it, because i dont know how i would. it runs off of 2AAA batteries and a switch from one of my mini wally crawlers. Pretty cool, what brand of car did you get the winch from?

the body and the winch came from a nikko POS. front and rear steer and front and rear duelies. kind of a pile of crap but for $2.00 it was worth it. here is a video of my first recovery. http://www.youtube.com/?v=y8oJkFFLOiQ sorry it is so dark. Last edited by EKSJAE; 01-12-2006 at 10:43 PM. | |

some pics of my winch without the body on. winch battery pack mounted in the bed. here you can see where i had to run the "cable" to the front bumper. close up of the internals of the winch. a shot of the whole shebang. |
