| New to r/c crawling... Check out my Mods so far!
and just got the nylint 1/18th and 1/6th jeeps. The 1/18th got cut springs and tires. can't find a shock relocation I like, so it's stock for now. fun r/c's. I have always had r/c's but none that was just set up for crawling. the only thing is my steering is off and don't know how to fix it. oh well. here's a pic... |

I had to lift it up abit to get the tires from rubbing. so that is the lowest I can go with out trimming the body. I love s-10's and still have 1 more body left so I am going to be buying more of these. the next one I will trim the body and see what I get.

Well the steering is starting to go out (grinding and no more returning to center) so I e-mailed funrise and just asked about fixing or parts and they sent me out a scorpion as a replacement and I never even asked for it. They have a great customer service dept. (i know I answer calls all day). I could not believe it. Just got it in today and chargeing now. wow just wow for funrise.

In your S-10 collecting, ever come across any 1st gen S-series. Say larger than 1:24. 1:24 is all I've ever seen. I know 1st gen isn't as popular, but I like em. Like the LUV too. |

!st gens...hmmm... I know nylint make some in metal form back in the day but I don't know the scale. might be just a bit bigger than 1/18th. and yes it's alittle high but didn't want to cut that body so I had to BL it. now I am working on a yellow and black one that will take the place of my scorpion body. That one will be as low as the jeep/scorpion's are. still not sure about suspension mods yet I redo it back to stock after I mod it |

well got the other rc built for right now still needs to some BB's in the tires and maybe some other things. what she got is inboarded shocks lenghtened the wheelbase to clear the links and pulled the cables out farther. the best part is I can take it back to stock in less than 30 min.what do you think? |
