I was in your same shoes, still am, I was concidering the redcat rs10 for a while, id dose come RTR but reading up on it..it is a good first entry leval crawler, and some of the electronics are not the best. you will be putting some more money into it after a while. I was on the edge of buying one untill i ran accross a trade for a Venom Creeper. thats the way im going, ALL I MEAN ALL KITS OR RTR have their problems. the REDCAT wouldnt be able to compete in any comps so keep that in mind. the Venom you buy build and pick your electronics yourself. You will spend just as much money for eaither one. good luck.

Just 2cents worth.
A used AX10 or one with TLTs under it would be better than a new Redcat.

for an entry level MOA rig, the redcat rs10 is really good value. Check out the redcat crawler specific threads, you'll see that there isn't just venom and axial out there. No offence to the Axial/creeper crowd, but they're like bic lighters....they're everywhere.....good... but everywhere.

I have seen both the RS and AX right out of the box and the RS walked all over the AX and for the price you will already to be ahead of the game. With the money you save you can buy a decent set of tires and really do some crawling.

The RS10 is the best enrty level RTR on the market. The only thing you would really look at upgrading right out of the box is the servos and the tires. Another tip. Stay way from ebay. We can get you the same deal for the same price. And if something happens, we are here to help where your ebay guy, well yeah, is not.
