| AX10 to SCX10 swap questions
i am going to be changing my ax10 into an SCX10. i was wondering do these rigs used the same length 4 links? and what size shocks does the SCX10 use?

It depends on wich body you use as to what length of links you need ( for example Honcho uses 91mm lower's and 60mm top links: while the new truggy uses 101mm lowers and 60mm top's I belive). As for shocks the SCX10 uses 70mm shocks, much shorter than the ax10. I own both trucks and love them both AX10 for crawler and SCX10 for a trail rig. If you plan on using the 4 link truss that Axial has on the SCX10 then your upper links will need to be 80mm, either combine a 60mm and 20mm post on each side or cut down a 91mm link as I did ( cleaner and cheaper).

would like to correct the above statement. the Honcho is the long wheel base and the Dingo is the short wheel base.

| SCX10 Link kit
Axial also makes a complete linkage kit for both trucks that will probably be cheaper if your going to be needing to buy all the links. They have both the short wheel base and long wheelbase available. Hope this helps. http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/scx10...s_upgrade.html |
