| tire rub
so here is the scoop. ive got a ax-10 platform. warthog chassis, 3racing shocks ( inner springs) aluminum links and rc4wd rocklin crawler tires. my problem is that my tires rub at full turn on the shock body. can i solve this by pushing my shock lowers and my links more inboard on the axle, or will this affect my flex to much? please help has anyone else had this problem.

what i have done to remedy my situation like yours is to set my epa on the radio just before it rubs the shock body. yes you will lose some throw but its an easy fix that require no mods |

Every one.... seems not to be an issue..let em rub and keep all of your steering...You can stiil in board your shocks and links, but then you can increase your steering and the tires will still rub..only issue I have seen is with threaded shocks the tires can catch the adjusters and preload your shock, but with internal springs that will not be an issue

tryed to mount everything inboard more, still tire rub, hacked some lugs off the inside of the tires, still rubs. put my stock axial rims and tires back on the front. no more rub. "fixed"

You could offset your shocks inboard, that shouldn't effect your articulation too bad, but changing your link location might well effect articulation. But as said above, let em rub and keep your steering at it's max |

I would not suggest reducing steering throw. Look into what wheel offset will work with your axles... or just Let'em rub!
