| Anyone replaced the metal antenna with an antenna wire?
I snapped the metal antenna off of the Jeep last night and I'm wondering if I can just solder a hobby type antenna wire onto the lead, or am I stuck with re-rigging the metal one? I can re-install it, but I think I would rather have the soft wire. Thanks! |

I dont even run an antenna and it works fine! works for fairly long ranges, at least longer than you would need for rock crawling and still be able to see the vehicle.

Go to a hobby shop or rc car store and buy a soft wire antenna and a plastic straw alse. A total of about 3 bucks. works great, I put one on all mine once my dad broke it off. Dont cut the soft wire just bundle it up and stash it under the body. |
