Default servo throw

ive got a stock crawler king minus chaning the servo mount to the axle. but when the controller is off the servo will move between 90 and 180 degrees (glitching) i turn the controller on and the servo only moves 45 degrees or so. giving me just enough turning to make a u turn in a 40 foot half moon. any way of adjusting this or do i need a new controler?

thanks!
chad

1. NEVER turn the controller off before the truck. Your radio should be the first thing on and the last thing off.

2. When its on, the servo is moving as much as the radio is telling it to. The only way to change that is to get a new, better radio that has adjustable endpoints.

3. Depending on what kind of servo horn you have, you may be able to get a bit more throw by moving the steering rod towards the end (if it isn't already there). This will increase the amount of movement at the wheels, but at the same time lower the amount of torque or force applied to them.
