Default chassis reinforcement

I want to reinforce my chassis a bit more.

I was thinking a threaded rod through the two plates and then tighten it with 4 nuts.

Any other ideas?

I'd use Delrin or other plastic tube/rod available at LHS.

Spare links, cut to fit?
Your idea is fine. If you sleeve the all-thread with alum tube or shrink tubing it'll look better (if it matters). All depending, you may not necessarily need the outside nuts.

Thought I would add this . If you have trouble finding aluminum tube you can buy knitting needles at walmart ( or anywhere like it ) . These needles come in various sizes and colors and are hollow . Just cut to length and slide over some all thread and youre done .

thanks alot guys for the replies.

I think I will get a threaded rod and an aluminum tube to make it look nice.

I have a Venom Creeper, I removed the battery tray so I will need a link to make it more rigid.

I was thinking an aluminum tube with thread in it and I can cut whatever length I want and use two screws on each side. But I don't think I can find that...

But the problem is I can't use it in the front where the motor is because the motor is in the way. I'm looking for something like this?

I tried it today and failed, couldn't get a good bend.

Yeah I use a 101mm Axial lower link and just bend it into an arch to fit over the motor and cut to length,,if you cut out too much of the threads then use a black oxide M3 socket head screw or an M3 tap to make deeper threads in the ends.
