Default 1.9 scaler with 2.2 tires

i was thinking about putting 2.2 tires on my axial scx10...if someone can help me with what i have to do to make it work and post pics if anybody has them so i can get a ides thanks

2.2 wheels and trim the fenders? I guess you might need to raise the body or limit the throw of the shocks. I'd get the wheels and tires mounted up first (with no body) add body and make a decision.

I'm currently running 2.2's on my SCX 10. I have the body mounted about where " It looks right". You will lose alot of "scaleness" though. Unless your looking to do the biggest lifted _____ you've ever seen on the road.




I do get a LITTLE bit of tire rub when I use 4ws. Not much otherwise. I've never ran this with 1.9's, but i have heard its a huge difference in the amount of traction, and basic physics is with me on that one too. Be aware that they will put more stress on your servo(s), driveline, and motor. It only took me 35 minutes of crawling to need my MIP driveshafts. I'm not sure, but if you want to maintain the same speed to torque ratio, you'll probably have to get a slightly larger spur gear too. Good luck!

im workn on a build just see what all was needed...and get some ideas ill post pics of the build when parts get hear and i start on it
