Default Shock pistons

Hello
Has anyone had any success plugging holes in shock pistons? The pistons are Traxxas big bores. These have two holes. I would like to plug one. I am trying to slow the suspension down a little.

This is a droop setup on a Eclipse chassis. Any Ideas would be apreciated. I thought about making new pistons. Do they need to be made out of delrin or can I make them out of hard plastic.
Thanks
Kevin

Thicker oil?

I bet a toothpick and drop of CA glue would do the trick.

No.

It was a decent question for a change.

And Kevin, you can get thicker than 100 weight.

I didn't know that it came heavier than 100. I thought about the CA to but didn't know if it would hold up to being in oil. This is why I asked the question. I know someone has successfully done it. I'll admit I'm lazy and trying to do it the easy way.

Anything you can do to plug that hole a bit should help.
Are the holes/pistons big enough for a small bit of wire to fill the gam, bent on both sides to keep it set, but also removable? If there's still a little room in the hole with this you could try doing it to both holes and letting the oil pass between each of the "half-plugged" holes as the piston moves to and fro.
CA glue sounds like a good idea; a combination of a small plug along with a dab of glue if the glue isn't quite enough, maybe?
I wouldn't suspect that RC [silicone] shock oil would break down the glue. But I don't know.

Thanks gentlemen, I'm going to try the CA and see how it holds up.
