I took my 1/6 nylint in to water over the axels with no waterproofing, just got belts wet and then would not go, once dry worked fine. Then on my 1/18 it would go over the axels as-well, and still would go even after motors where wet it does not hurt them, but once the board is wet its over for good. On my maxx I do not take it in water at all, until i get a waterproof ESC.

Yes savage thats what it say above the pic. I think he might ahve put a air vavle like off a bike tire on it and blow them up after he modded it on there.I have seen a write up about it on here..... With them tires I think it was.

I get bored alot and i love driving in water/mud/snow. Ive had my 1:18 nylint in water up to the circut board several times, i just stop wen it quits working take the cover off and use a hair dryer or just sit it in front of my wood stove for it to dry |

That spot there where the pic was taken is around 15 to 20 feet deep and as far as the tires they were sealed up real good on the inside then the little black peices from a basket ball glued into one of the holes in the rim the other vent hole was taped over I could vary the air in them to make them almost flat or kong size. | |

| my 1:18 nylint has been into mud up to the top of the wheels but the only time i had problems was when it got chucked in to my pool by my lil brother and sat there for about 10 mins ....... at first it didnt work, but the next day it ran good as new. those things are bullet proof |

the slot cars i race have sbout the same motor in them but a little smaller and we break them in sittin in a cup with mineral oil and water so as long as you motors is oiled good then there should be no long term probs but if you just run it and dont use oil then it will get hot and the motor will have probs with the brushes and com from not havin lube and will not perform to its max
