If you look closely the holes aren't tapped for enough down for the screws, so you actually run out of threads before it gets tight on the wheels. I bought some new bolts that were just a tad shorter then the stock screws and they have never backed off.

I had a wheel fall off my scorpion... I put it back on without the screw (lost the screw) it stayed on for about another 45min till my battery died, didn't even try and back off.

I had that happen on my 1:1 before. Trust me it's not fun when you are driving and your wheel come off. Luckily I was going slow enough that my scout just stopped when the wheel came off.

Same thing happened to me except it was at night, and I didnt' know I lost a wheel...I was driving the thing around with three wheels. I was a good bit away from it, that's why I dint' know it had happened. I finally got it hung up on something and realized what ahppened....
