i broke the steering arm on mine...i ran it with a little hook going through the the inside of the steering "box" for a while but then the hook broke and i just had nylint send me a new crawler..

Yeah broke those many times i have broken 4 rims so far many axle shafts and yesterday out on our crawling trip i broke the axle bearing shaft i shattered it even busted a hub the whole plastic piece just riped right opened one time you name it i have broke it(almost)

Good god.....how did you break the wheel hex before any internal parts??

Ya, I can't keep a pin in the rear axle. I have tried drill bits, nails, and everything. It busts when I really don't even have it bound up. I was climbing strait up a dirt hill, stopped at the top(still on an angle) and the sob broke. I'm out of ideas. Anybody got any?

i have no idea how it happened... i was driving it back to the truck, or trying to because the steering sheered off and all of a sudden while puttin along the wheel started to wobble and tada... thrashed on level ground. it musthave been hanging on by a thread. |

Man...that is pretty funny though....jsut goes to show how much torque these things put out. It'd be interesting to get a reading......maybe use a torque wrench and a socket??

The only thing I've broken has been both the transfer cases.
