thinking about getting this stuff from rc4wd
Axial 1/10 SCX10 4WD RTR w/Honcho body

Castle Creations Side Winder Brushless System w. 4600Kv Motor

Rock Stompers 1.9 Tires (1x Pair) x2

ppl let me know if its a waste of money
but it just seem cheap 4 me to get it as i live in new zealand and the currency is different

Default Get it.

I would get it, it's a great kit and with the add-ons you're getting you could sell the other stuff to get even more scale stuff. Like the R2 Transmission from RC4WD.. It's a sweet upgrade. Good starting truck for the price.

The honcho is a great scale kit, but I wouldn't get the sidewinder unsensored system because of the poor startup/low speed control and drag brake of unsensored systems. For burshless, a mamba Max pro or tekin rs and novak or tekin senored motor would be better choice, but more expensive. I would also go with rok loc or rover tires for better performance. Have fun whatever!

From what I've heard the AX10 RTR is not very good. That's the Ready to Race version, opposed to the AX10 RTC, (Ready to Crawl) which is one of the best rigs to start with on the market right now.
The SCX10 RTR (Ready to Run?)that you are looking at is the scaler that I've seen recommended over and over again. It's a great truck.

The AX10 RTR is ready to run not ready to race. It is an entry level crawler.

Hey kiwi,hows it.
Honchos are the best,i got the kit version, and like oldhippie said ,you need sensered if your going to go brushless, and a lower KV.And why not get rocloc tyres instead.
I got G8 flatirons on mine,they're good.
