| Does anybody know anything about redcat nrockslide super
Hey I am thinking about getting another crawler and I want it to be a super with four wheel steering. I want to go as cheap as possible but I dont want to waste my time with a MAJOR peice of crap. i can deal with a small peice but not a major one lol. I will eventually upgrade everything on it just like i did my ax10. All I really want to know is does it work and normal problems with them. Thank you for your imput.

Based on my experience with Redcat, you would be better off investing otherwise.

If it were me, I would probably do some modified Berg axles with dual long side toobs, and super 300 shafts and stubs....dual 7950 servo steering front and rear, and a Futaba 4PK radio. Read and enjoy. | |

Its cheaper in the long run to build it right the first time...even if it means gathering parts for a month or more. It is easy to lose interest in it that way but think of what you will save while waiting. Buying used is always a cheaper alternative too. |

We have a Redcat Super and it's been a pretty reliable rig for camping and couch crawling. But it's nowhere near a comp-worthy vehicle. If you want one to take for the kiddos to play with then it'll be just fine. If you want something to comp with the I'd recommend watching the classifieds and picking up a nice used rig. There have been quite a few nice ones go through lately.
