Default Comparing a 1gen to 3gen

For all of you that DO NOT know or are unclear....

I picked up a new srorpion this weekend for $79.99 (woot )

I also have a 1gen Jeep Wrangler

Figured I take a pic for you all to see the difference:



First generation Jeep Wrangler


Third Generation Scorpion

hey man could u post a pic of the part under the screwed in part on the 3rd gen bcuz i wana know if it has a bushing or if its still plastic all the way to the top and bottom

the grey knuckles?

if thats what you mean, yes, they are still just plain plastic with a screw that goes into them.

i think i am going to fill the threads full of JB Weld and smooth it down so that the threads aren't eating into the plastic like teeth.

so all that is different is that it screws into the knuckle insead of pinned in and nothing else

there is some extra bracing and whatnot on the knuckles.....but i am pretty sure that is the only difference.....
