Default Droop return springs?

Ive seen a lot of droop set-ups but only a few using bunjy cord or some sort of elastic bands to run externally on the chassis. Any one have any recomendations on where to find stuff like that? Thanks in advance

I see you're local to me. There's a military surplus shop (Freedom Surplus) in Mesa (Main St. about 1/4 mile East of Gilbert Rd. on the South side of the road...used to be a Circle K). I know for a fact that they have elastic cords on bulk rolls that you can buy by the foot.

I actually do this external spring thing on my truck. I just use ordinary rubber bands from a stationary shop or office supplies shop. Very easy to install and adjust for tuning, lots of sizes available.

I think even small bungee might be a little too strong for this use.

Cheers.

Thanks Offroader ill check that place out. Terranaut i have seen a tiny set of bunjy before in some crawling video ages ago, ill keep my eye out for a set but ill probably end up doing something like you did in the end. I like the idea of being able to adjust the rates easier and there are only thousands of different types of rubberbands out there. the only thing im not sure about it how long the rubberbands last in the sun and dirt. Have any of your failed on ya and how long did it take?

With all the changes and adjustments I've done over the last year the rubber bands get replaced before they deteriorate. Of course the sun will eventually ruin them, but there's plenty more where they came from.

Cheers.
