Default Rear locker not working

Not sure when it happened, but my rear locker is not longer working. Is there a fix for this?
I would trake it back to Wally World but they are out of stock on them.

there's not really a locker in these things.
You probably broke the axel pin. Open the axel up and take the right side apart. There is a pin that goes through the gear reduction box and the axle. these thing break constanlty. Replace it with a roll pin, drill bit, or whatever you prefer. I drilled the hole slightly bigger and put a larger roll pin in, has held up ever since. the roll pins that are the same size as the stock pin are pretty weak and will probably break after a few minutes (experience x2).

doubt he has a gen 1.... Pull your axle covers off and take a look at things. More and likely you just stripped the inside of the white plastic coupler. If thats what you did get some cold weld. Most use JB Weld, but I prefer POR15 Epoxy Putty, and just weld the axle to the coupler. This should hold up for awhile.

Ok, finally got around to try and fix this thing.
The axle pin is fine.
How can I tell if I have a Gen 1 or 2?
I have pulled the rear apart and everything looks fine. Found a few black plastic shaving in there though.
Anybody got pics of what I should be looking for?

Thanks.

sounds like it may be the bushing that holds the counter gear against the gear reduction unit..if that bushing is broken the large white gear will wobble around and not make contact....

Well I did find one of the axle pins broke, so I drilled the hole slightly bigger and used a piece of a nail for a pin. After some mild wheeling today the axle shaft is now broken in half (where I made the hole bigger).
Can I buy a new axle anywhere?
Make a new one?
Help.

ebay is your best bet, ask them if it is a 3rd/4th gen though, they are the strongest
