if you want an "comp style" rig, the AX-10 is really the only option from what you listed. The G1 is not much of a comp rig and if im correct, the bastard jr is just a chassis for the ax-10?
The ax-10 will work great for you if messing around and bashing is what your looking for.

x2
you say you have a scaler. is it axial based? if so sticking with axial makes all your parts interchangable.
no matter, for an all around truck you really cant go wrong with a axial.
just dont get a rtr or rtc.
get a kit and go from there,or buy used.

The axail is a little outdated as a serious comp rig but still plenty capable and since ya already got the scaler, parts swapping is a no brainier. Plus there is everything imaginable available out there for them! You other choices aren't really comp rigs. If ya want to get more comp capablei, I would recommend a moa bully since ya aren't gonna seriously comp. They are more capable and tough as nails.

Well then just throw a scale body on an ax10 or a bully.
