| solid rod vs. tube chassis
Getting ready to pick up a new chassis and i wanted some input on the difference's between the two. I assume that solid rod is stronger but also heavier which may cause preventable roll-overs. That said, I also assume that tube is not quite as strong but much lighter making it the preferred material. questions, comments or smart remarks? |

ive always used steel tube for less weight and never had durability issues unless i were to drive it off a 20ft cliff. when making a frame you just need to put more support is the high stress areas and it should be fine
