Just take your ax and build it into a scaler. You have everything you need but a frame and body. You can set it up for 2.2 and keep your wheels.

X2!

You could even turn it into a trail rig or something like that. You can find some great chassis out there depending what you want to do. If you are looking to do a Jeep build (I have 2) I would suggest a Jeep Chassis from The Scale Shop (I believe he is a vendor on here if not check out www.txrcrca.com) or if he doesn't have any (they go quick because they are so good) you can use one of the tcs chassis, they are also good. But don't swap your runner for a chassis for sure.

I am going to steal an idea.

Gonna bolt me up some frame rails to my SWX.

Put on some of those Giant ass 2.2 scale tires, drop a 35t hand wound and 4s into it.

then get me a hard body defender or jeep body.

$200 turns my AX10 into one real badass scaler

This is my AX-10

I'm still running the stock AX chassis. Its not 100% scale, but I had a lot of fun building the Bronco body and interior, plus is still crawls well....Just a thought.
