Default titanium links

I've got my hands on some 4mm -5mm titanium rod with a view to use it for links.....anyone know of any negatives with using ti for links?

It can be a PITA to tap. Other than that, there are no real downsides to using Ti links. It's strong and light.

I've been looking for a 3mm 125-128mm Ti link to use for my steering Tie rod for clearence reasons, but all of the 3mm turnbuckles I find are too short.

Lundsford rock crusher links, They are Super cheap off most hobby sites. $6-$9 You can pretty much get any length you need.

They use 3/16" for that length of link. Might not find anything that long in smaller diameter.
