Default RC hydraulic ram

Is there such a thing as an rc hydraulic ram. I am wanting to build a scale dump truck and I want a ram to lift the dump. I can find a linear actualtor that is as little as 7", but its like $90. I was wanting somthing a little cheaper, thanks.

JIA built a hydrolic setup using some old TLT shocks... I think the thread is "hydraulics made easy" or something similar

Not even a little bit. A hydraulic system is complex, you need pumps, reservoirs, switches, rams, lines, etc. For real it will cost you $1000.

take a 645 and mod it for continuous rotation then tap the output shaft for M3 or M4 and secure a piece of M3/M4 threaded rod into the output shaft with a lock nut against the output shaft. Use a sleeve nut and some inginuity to make a draw screw set up with an arm that it pulls or pushes to dump.

The dumptruck kit is only $300 ish. It uses a bi-directional pump and a resevior. It doesn't have any valves.
