| rule 2.1.6 confusion
This is a question to officials in the rules department. PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR OPINIONS Im looking for actual facts pertaining to the rules So i read this huge tread from the beginning of the year about a force articulation argument. Where it seamed like a lot of questions got answered. But im still not sure about cantilevered suspensions. Is it legal in 2.2 to have 1. a cantilevered suspension with a fixed end point....ex axle-link-cantilever-shock-chassis 2.a cantilevered suspension with a fixed end point....ex axle-shock-cantilever-link-chassis 3. a cantilevered suspension with a hydraulic or electric end point...ex axle-link-cantilever-shock-hydraulic ram-chassis 4. a cantilevered suspension with a hydraulic or electric end point...ex axle-shock-cantilever-link-hydraulic ram-chassis I guess my real question is has any one defined "FIXED" yet and are cantilevers part of this. Thank you for your time |

Yep, I remember. My super used to run a chassis that had a cantilever suspension.

Nope....just a regular old cantilever suspension: I have a feeling that the type of suspension I pictured above will be allowed, but the kind that you talk about will not.... |

looks sweet.... I think your right about what will be allowed(from my reading) at this point one would have to wonder what would be an expectable for "fixed" and why the active and forced suspension rules are even there in the rule book in first place... Yes i know this is now getting into opinion.... |
