ok i know mod 1 mesh with 48p gears....what do the .8 mod gears mesh to 32p gears........bob .... |

Close but not quite. mod .8 is equivalent to 32 pitch (25.4mm/inch, 25.4 / .8 = 31.75 pitch mod 1 is way more aggressive than 32 pitch, mod 1 = 25.4 pitch mod .6 is metric 48 pitch (25.4 / .6 = 42.33 pitch) I'm not aware of a mod equivalent to regular 48 pitch http://www.robinsonracing.com/catalog/catalog.html# |

Trying to mesh metric gears with inch pitch gears is never a good idea unless you like noisey gearboxes and lots of gear shavings to clean up.
