Not vxl, but 4 and 6 cell lipo with a 21.5t tekin and bumped timing. I ended up with all metal internals and then mip drivelines to survive. I occasionally tear up a spur gear, but somethings got to give. I think it was a scale seat going through the gears that started the spur falliure.

Stock? From my experience on 3s NO!! A slipper clutch will be your friend but you'll end up having to replace the plastic gears in the trans with metal gears, MIP shafts and most likely the gears in the axle with the heavy duty gear set somewhere down the road. (just got done putting a set in my SCX10) But it's fun as hell once you get it upgraded so it doesn't break everytime you run it. |

Mine held up fine, but I do have a slipper. 3S lipo too. The rest of the truck didn't hold up so good. |
