Default Sloppy “Wheel Bearing” Play Fix

Have a lot of play in the front “Wheel Bearings”?

Well here’s my planned solution. I have ordered 2 - 8 mm x 12 mm x 4 mm roller bearings. My plan is first to take off around a 1/100 of an inch of plastic off the axle cup making it 8.1mm. Second bore out the plastic knuckle with a 15/32 drill bit making it just a hair smaller then 12 mm. In doing this it will give me enough clearance to warm up and expand the plastic knuckle with a hair drier and press in the bearing, and then press the front axle cup into the bearing, eliminating the front axle play that plagues the used 1:18 crawlers.

I will have post pix as soon as it’s done.
