Default Blast from the past Nylint question!

I used the search button in just about every section of this forum looking for the info I seek, but not luck ( I even went to google, still no luck).

Story:
I am resurrecting all of my old R/c cars including my 2 1/6 scale Nylint Rock crawlers and putting them on display in a room in my house. I managed to find an equivalent battery replacement, but I have not been able to find any information on what I can use to replace the bands. Ive even tried any and all websites that I have ever seen sell r/c car parts, but no luck!

I know that people are using O-rings, but I can't find any info on size, type, or anything.

If anyone knows anything as to what people are using to replace these things PLEASE let me know! Thanks in advance!

I've even managed to salvage my old RadioShack; peterson's 4wd edition Chevy Avalanche rock crawler, that had the front end falling off of it!

If you still have the bands that came out of it you can just take them to a hardware store with you. The plumbing area should have what you you need. Just compare what you have with their stock of o-rings. Going slightly smaller should give you a good fit as they will stretch a little.
