will hitec warranty a servo if you cut the wires to wire it direct to the bec or am i up a river with out a paddle

yeah, probably not. I would email them and ask. is it something you can fix yourself or is it something to do with electronics?

Did you set your end points? What did you have the BEC voltage set at?

It's at 6 volt its a 7955

With the cut wires, I wouldn't hold my breath for warranty work, but it couldn't hurt to ask. 6v on a 7955 shouldn't have been any problem though - that's what I run mine at. |

I cut my servos wires to reduce length and Hitec took care of me. Hitec has been nothing but good to me.

i just picked up male to female adapters, this way you can just plug the one end into the Rx and the other into the servo. Now...if you need to cut anything - cut the adapter not the servo wires. |

I run a Y to. Its the best way and you won't have to worry about warranty issues They only have a 1 yr warranty so make the recpt less than yr ago |

I always shorten or Y my servo wires and they have always taken care of me... Every time though they say one time only lol
