| lookin for an AX10 whislt on the road...
First post, how ominous. Yet another damn hobby to suck up my time and money... Looking to get my first crawler whilst the aussie peso is quite strong, and doing a bit of a road trip to kill about a week whilst we wait for friends to go play in the snow up Wyoming way. Flying into LAX, picking up a rental and getting out of town asap - doing a loop to include vegas, and a bunch of nat. parks etc, and anything else we feel like doing. Plan is quite vague and can accommodate detours.. Question is - does anyone know of a store that'll do me a killer deal on a AX-10 ARTR, and associated bits and pieces (motor, ESC etc) thats kinda on my way around? Google isn't really that helpful for this kind of stuff... I was thinking about buying online, and delivering to our accom in Wyoming, but I figure I've got a few days, and I might just go past somewhere that I could drop into. Let me know if anywhere springs to mind. Thanks in advance, |

Hit up Mike Mann out of Concorde, CA. He runs a Hobbytown there that really supports us crawlers. I bet he can have you a full blown rig ready and waiting! Here is his member page: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/members/mann0mann-17806.htm He is one hell of a guy to work with and will help you out. |

Sounds like an interesting trip. Good luck and have fun. I am also looking for an ARTR... I hope I find one, too.
