| T-maxx conversion to electric use.
I want to try a t-maxx (nitro forward only) in a tlt based crawler. I know e-maxx is easier I have one. I found the write up on how to lock in one gear and remove reverse. But this t-maxx is different. I want to keep the 2 speed part. Is there a way to convert the T-maxx auto 2 speed to a shiftable version like the e-maxx? Can I use a emaxx case and gears if needed? The case is HUGE around the idler. Can I use the output of the e-maxx in the t-maxx to make the driveshafts shorter? Ill add some pix in a few minutes. These are so cheap I just had to buy one. I am going to try with the auto shift and see if it even works with a smaller motor. It may be ideal to have the auto shift. |
