Anyone ever use any of Outerwears' products? I'll looking for a cover for a 540 brushed motor to keep the sand out, this looks pretty good, but the price is a little high. http://www.outerwearsracing.com/prod...sp?prod=202450 Thanks. |

I used them on every quad I rode and raced and they worked awesome. They were water repelent like they say and kept a lot of stuff out of the air filter while still letting it breath. Just do not soak them. I found the best way to clean them was to use liquid dish soap and scrub with your hands under water and then use air compressor to help dry out. I did not know they made them for this and am going to have to convince the wife to let me get one. I think they were worth the money but just my opinion. |

I've used them on my 1:1 before and it does a great job of keeping water out of the air intake.

I agree, their pullstart covers are a must have upgrade for the Baja 5B and I think they would work great as a motor cover as well. I didn't realize they made one but I'll be putting one on my scaler when I finally build it.

I run them on my 5B, seem to work well.
