Dont sell it. Everything is fixable.

When it starts to crawl forward, what happens when you turn back the throttle adjustment? Does it do anything?

Worst case scenario is you put some new electronics in it.

Hey Hyde

Not selling yet

After some advice from fellow forum members
i got a new ESC (AMAX MODEL) today for my Exceed 1/10 installed it with no probs...but I must be doing something wrong!

issue I have

1) On a slope, no brakes
2) Have to pull full throttle on Controller to wake up motor and move forward.

What am I missing here...

Thanks again

could just be the motors are crapping out on you.

Also, dont the exceeds come with a program card? if so, program your dragbrake all the way up.

about "waking" your ESC up.. your ESC could just be damaged. or it was previously in the brake mode.

On a lot of esc's you have to set it up to work properly with your radio, otherwise you won't get proper throttle control. If you've already done it, try it again.

Also, make sure your throttle trim in centered before doing this...

One more thing: this should teach you a lesson about going cheap.
