could i run in the scale crawler class what kinda chassis does it have and what would i have to do to run in the scale crawler class tamiya said that it was a scale crawler stock 1/18th scale but i make it in to a 1/10th scale it is 15 and a half inches long any info will help |

A stock TLT is not a scale crawler. It has a TVP chassis (Twin Vertical Plates), which is illegal in most scale competitions. Also with it's wheelbase, it doesn't fit the body wheel wells enough to be scale. The tires suck for crawling. The axles are about the best parts to use for a scaler. Most of the old school scaler ran TLT axles because that are narrow.

| If you are at 15" WB right now, you have to run the Super class and the TLT will not stand a chance. 2.2 class (2.2" wheels) is limited to 12.5" WB.

whats the best stuff to use to make a scale chassis for the least amount of money and what kind of transmission. i am 10.5 inches from center of axile to axile and 15 1/2 inches from outside to outside of tires in length. 9.5 inches from outside of tire to outside of tire in width
