Default shocks and ESC on a budget

Im not going to start 2 separate threads so Ill put 2 together.

I want to know what are the best shocks and ESC I could use for the Rockcrawler?
Its only a nylint 1:18 crawler so I dont really feel like spending much... I guess I could look on e-bay or something but I still need to know what to look for
Thanks

theres a bucnch of threads on esc's and for shocks unless your doing a chassis of your own the stock shocks work fine.

i know of a shock trick that gets you a bit more flex, but no much more. take one of them off, then take out the bottum part that slides in the bigger one, take the bigger one and drill it out so there about 1/16th of that plastic rim left on the bottum, it helps a bit

A trick that I used for my nylint is using oil filled shocks around maxx size and putting mini t springs in the resivors it looks cool and works realy good.
